After quite some delay, the 25th James Bond movie, No Time To Die, is finally hitting the theaters on September 30, 2021. And you know who’s more excited for the film than fans? Aston Martin.
The British carmaker is always thrilled with a new Bond movie and this time, it is no different. In fact, I think this time, they may have been more excited judging because No Time To Die features four Aston Martin rides from the past, present, and future.
The four cars are the DB5, the classic Aston Martin V8, the brand’s super GT – DBS, and the forthcoming mid-engined hypercar, Aston Martin Valhalla. The movie also marked the first time four different models have appeared in a single 007 movie.
To celebrate the arrival of No Time To Die, Aston Martin has revealed a giant replica of the original 1965 CORGI DB5 model toy box in central London.
The life-size model, which measures 5.66 meters long, 2.7 meters tall, and 2.7 meters deep, replicates the original CORGI package design and houses an Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger Continuation car.
The car is tricked out with a sweet selection of functioning gadgets including rotating number plates, a retractable bulletproof rear shield, extending front over-riders, and pop-out machine guns.
The Giant CORGI Aston Martin DB5 is currently on display at The Coaling Jetty, Battersea Power Station until October 01, 2021.
