I get it that esports is the future. It will be part of the sports genre, but I really can’t see the association between esports and dive watch. But hey, if you got the money to splurge, no one is stopping you from picking up the Fnatic x Gucci Limited Edition Gucci Dive Watch.
You heard that right. Gucci is embracing esports and it has teamed up with esports management outfit Fnatic to release a Fnatic-themed limited edition Gucci dive watch. This particular timepiece is available exclusively online from Gucci.com and features a black and orange colorway.
The watch is powered by an ETA F06.111 quartz movement and further boasts design features including a 40 mm stainless steel case, black and orange bezel, black dial with black and orange multi icon indexes with the requisite Fnatic logo at the 6 o’clock mark, and black rubber strap.
The watch is water resistance to 20 ATM (200 meters or about 660 feet) and it is made in Switzerland.
TBH, there’s nothing particular outstanding with this design. It is essentially a repaint of the Gucci dive watch. That said, you have to be a major fan of esports to be wanting to drop 230 bucks more, or US$1,620 for this watch.
However, for a person who had a thing for Gucci and orange-on-black colorway, I have a little love for this particular version of Gucci Dive Watch. In case you do too, you can pick up the timepiece HERE.
