when you live and breathe motorsport, it is only natural that the ride you’d take when going up the snowy mountains for some snowboard fun would be one of the kind, or maybe that only applies to Ken Block whose choice vehicle would be this Ford F-150 RaptorTRAX Track Vehicle. based on the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, the RaptorTRAX is described as the “ultimate backcountry snowboard expedition vehicle” and also happens to be the world’s fastest snowcat. prepped especially for Block, this truck-turned-track vehicle is destined to star in an upcoming video slated for released later this year.
build by California-based Special Vehicle Concepts, the RaptorTRAX is powered by a Whipple supercharged 6.2L V8 and is equipped to the teeth to be worthy of the ultimate snowboarding expedition vehicle. equipment and features include a roof basket, a rear-mounted winch, interior storage for snacks and drinks (!), an exterior stereo setup for partying wherever Block and team are, a full roll cage for extra measures of protection, Recaro seating, snowboard racks (naturally), load of exterior-mounted Rigid Industries lighting and of course, it wears some serious ‘snow shoes’, in the form of four Mattracks that could shrugged off pretty much any type of terrains.
