If you are a super fan of Evangelion, you ought to be living in Japan. While you can get your hands on Evangelion merch even they are exclusive to Japan, one way or another. But you need to be there for the experience and experience is exactly what the Fuji Flying Company – Evangelion The Flight is about.

Fuji Flying Company Evangelion The Flight

Evangelion x Fuji Flying Company – Evangelion The Flight is a 4D thrill ride that is set to open on July 18 at the Fuji-Q Highland Amusement Park.

The ride is based on the upcoming fourth Evangelion movie. As a rider, you will be a “tourist” flying on fictional “Fuji Flying Company”, a flying tourism outfit under the control of NERV Fujikyu Branch.

Riders will be put through a suspended ride as they fly through a CG scenery around Mount Fuji with “guide” Makinami Mari Illustrious, aka the Fourth Child, the pilot of EVA Unit-08.

The “flight” will take riders on a (CG) scenic trip over the Fuji Five Lakes. It’s not a chill ride, though, as the tour will be subsequently interrupted by an Angel “attacked” and well, you guessed it, Evangelion will come to the rescue.

In other words, you be caught in the battle between the two entities and that, my friends, is the thrill in the ride.
