G.I. Joe Classified Series Snow C.A.T. (Combat All-Terrain) Vehicle

Can’t get enough of very expensive G.I. Joe toys? Well, HasLab has heard you. Hasbro’s crowdfunding platform for high-end collectible toys has rolled out the G.I. Joe Classified Series Snow C.A.T. (Combat All-Terrain) Vehicle with Farley “Frostbite” Seward Action Figure for fans who have the money to drop. More on the price in a bit.

So yes, there’s another G.I. Joe HasLab project, which already includes the Cobra Rattler Ground Attack Jet, the Assault Copter Dragon (XH-1), the Cobra H.I.S.S. Tank, and the Skystriker. If HasLab has its way, the Joes are tipping the balance of battle between good and evil. It would be 2 vehicles versus 3—if the campaign gets at least 8,000 backers by August 14th.

The standard package includes Joe’s iconic snow-terrain-capable half-track, complete with functional wheels and conveyor belt-like treads, plus a 360° missile turret. You’ll get 4 Shockwave HE-27 missiles with detachable blast effects to let you play out various stages of a missile launch. Also included are 2 “Avalanche” ski missiles with removable side cargo crates and a Classified Series figure of driver Farley “Frostbite” Seward.

Seward is well-equipped to deal with both the cold and Cobra, with arctic getup, goggles, an assault rifle, and even an insulated travel mug with a removable lid.

Meanwhile, the star of the show—the Snow C.A.T.—features cargo storage space under the bench seating, a tailgate with handrail that drops down to serve as a loading ramp, and a rear bay that opens to reveal access panels and Twin IL6 9.0-liter Direct Injection Turbo Diesel engine details. The reverse sides of the access panels stow crescent and socket wrench accessories.

But wait, there’s more. There’s a slide-out kitchenette with food prep surfaces, additional beverage holders, and even a compartment to store ice accessories. Like, the Arctic isn’t cold enough for the Joes.

The half-track further boasts an opening cockpit canopy (with integrated scissor doors), front armor plating that folds down to reveal a functional manual winch, a removable brush guard, a tow hitch, multiple handles and steps, and a sticker sheet for vehicle customization.

And yes, it lights up. At the push of a button, an LED lighting sequence kicks in—controlling the dashboard, headlights, tail lights, light bar flood lights, night-pursuit lights, fog lights, convoy lights, and flashing hazards.

The G.I. Joe Classified HasLab Snow C.A.T. measures a pretty intimidating 21.05 inches (534.75 mm) long, 10.44 inches (265.26 mm) wide, and 10.85 inches (275.64 mm) tall. And yes, it, of course, can fit the included action figure. It can accommodate two in the main cabin.

As before, there are tiers to unlock more goodies. Tier 1 (10,000 backers) unlocks an arctic gear Lady Jaye figure. Tier 2 (12,000) unlocks the Bivouac Battle Station. And Tier 3 (14,000) brings Flint in arctic gear into the fold.

At the time of this post, the G.I. Joe Classified Series Snow C.A.T. with Farley “Frostbite” Seward has not reached its minimum target. I’m not surprised. The asking price of US$324.99 is kinda prohibitive for your average working Joe.
