Not everyone was a fan of the new Google Pixel 8 because of the price bump. If you’re interested in a Pixel 8 but deterred by the higher cost, you might consider the “a” version, typically the more budget-friendly option. Specifically, the 8a is expected to launch around May 2024.

Regarding the Google Pixel 8a, exclusive images of the upcoming budget version have been revealed by No Man in collaboration with @xleaks7’s David. Images posted on No Name’s LinkedIn page showcase an aluminum dummy phone, likely a model used by casemakers. This model resembles the 7a in design but notably features significantly rounded corners and a larger bezel, which, in my opinion, seems quite pronounced compared to the already sizable bezel of the Pixel 7a.

No Name also provided dimensions for the Pixel 8a, reportedly measuring 153.44 x 72.74 x 8.94 mm. If accurate, this suggests a slightly taller but slightly narrower and thinner profile compared to the 7a. The design appears to retain the center-aligned hole-punch camera seen in the 7a.

What are your thoughts on the speculated design of the Pixel 8a?
