how do you judge the popularity of a handset? the answer is obvious: when accessories makers start making a dedicated sound dock for it and with Grace Digital gdock sound dock, you know Samsung GALAXY devices are at the top of the food chain, previously reserved only for Apple’s small devices. so is the table turned as far as smartphone goes? we shan’t delve into it. anyway, the gdock is designed for Samsung GALAXY S II, S III, Note and Note II. it features a pair of 3-inch full-range bass ported drivers along with a 16W class D digital amplifier. connectivity is via a built-in micro USB connector that charges and plays audio from Samsung GALAXY smartphones and powered by the mains. however, if portability is what you are after, you can purchase the optional rechargeable lithium-ion battery that’s good for up to 6 hours for your on-the-road usage. once docked, the cradle allows the device to be rotated to view in landscape or portrait mode while the dock itself can be turned to 50 or 38 degrees. music and volume controls is via the hard buttons located on the top of the sound dock or via the supplied remote control. other then that, the speaker looks pretty much like any sound dock in the market. available now with a $129.99 sticker. a few more look after the break.
