Slip ons can never look formal. In fact, they often look too much like home worn footwear. But that changes with the Hard Graft In & Out Slip Ons. At least that’s how I felt when I first lay eyes on them.
It is clean, minimal and strangely sophisticated. It is anti-slip and has a design true to its name: slip in, slip out, aka easy to wear. Made of Italy leather (or wool + leather), Hard Graft In & Out Slip Ons is as good inside your home, or outside when you need slip out to pick up the papers, or just grab a coffee down the street.
Two models are available: Leather and Wool. The former has an upper in Italian vegetable-tan calfskin leather and veg-tan leather piping, while the former has a robust wool upper accented with black leather piping.
Whichever you choose, you’d expect interior lined with smooth calfskin leather, soft supported insoles, and outsoles completely constructed from Buffalo leather with a transparent anti-slip inserts.
Beautiful footwear, no doubt. But good things don’t come cheap and so are these footwear. The Wool variety sells for €250 ( about US$285) and the Leather model has an asking price of €275, or roughly US$313. Whether or not they are worth the dough, we shall leave it to you to be the judge.
