Sideshow x Legacy Effects’ life-size Baby Yoda is adorable and all, but alas, it can’t move like the little guy was in the TV series and therefore, it will only melts the heart partially. However, if you are willing to trade size for movements (yes, movements!), Hasbro Baby Yoda Animatronic Edition will make even the most hardened hearts go into a full-on melt down.
You heard that right. Animatronic Baby Yoda is thing! How awesome is that? Simply touching the head, The Child will produce over 25 sound and motion combinations, including him using the Force.
That’s not all, apparently, if you lay him down, this little young-old dude will take a “Force nap” too. LoL. I don’t know what’s cuter than all these.
We thought Hasbro is pretty much done with Baby Yoda after it announced The Mandalorian Baby Yoda toys last December. But I am glad those weren’t it.
Each Hasbro Baby Yoda Animatronic Edition comes with a removable Mandalorian pendant necklace and premium soft goods robe. However, the Bassinet that you saw in the animated GIF up top is not included. Awww. It would be nice if it is available as an accessory. I mean, for completeness’ sake, right?
With what it can do, Hasbro Baby Yoda Animatronic Edition somehow only cost $59.99. Under 60 bucks for an animatronic toy. Imagine that. We’d be lying if we said we weren’t pleasantly surprised by the price.
No words on how many will be produced, but if you really want one, then we strongly suggest that you secure a unit by pre-ordering it today. The item is expected to release on December 15, 2020, in time for the Holidays.
