how far would go to save yourself some time, literally, when you wish to enjoy some music? how about not needing to dock your music device, no cables to connect, and absolutely no pairing (like in the case of Bluetooth speakers)? if that sounds like music to your ears, then check out the iFrogz Boost Plus Portable Speaker. it features what ZAGG dubbed as, Near-Field Audio Amplifying technology that amplifies the audio from your smartphone through three 2W x 2RMS drivers, all by just placing your smartphone in the correct orientation on top of the speaker itself. magic? sort of. we can’t vouch for its sound quality but given a gadget that needs no cables, pairing et cetera does indeed sounds like a sweet deal for us as far as ‘casual listening’ is concerned. the speaker runs off three AAA batteries for up to 15 hours of sound amplification and capable of standing by for up to six months. it can also be powered by USB connection if you choose too but then that would defeat the idealism of cable-less set up, wouldn’t it? though, it does not come cheap, expect the iFrogz Boost Plus Portable Speaker to set you back at $59.99 a pop.
