Ever wish you could take the Indian Motorcycle FTR 1200 on a backroad adventure? Well, you can’t, but the scrambler-inspired FTR1200 known as FTR Rally sure can. First announced at EICMA 2019 in Milan, the FTR Rally is now available in stateside with a starting price of $13,499.
Expect features like Titanium Smoke paint with the Indian Motorcycle headdress graphic, aluminum wire wheels with stainless steel spokes and a red pinstripe, brown aviator seat, a new rally windscreen and knobby Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires.
The Indian Motorcycle FTR Rally offers responsive handling with upright ergonomics that make a ride to enjoy both in the city and for backroad adventures.
Other highlights include cruise control, a USB fast charge port, new ProTaper handlebars that are 2 inches higher, LED headlight, LED turn signals, black trellis frame, inverted front suspension, radially mounted dual Brembo brakes, and rounding up the package is a 1,203cc V-twin motor that produces a beefy 123 horsepower and 86 lb-ft (about 117 Nm) of torque.
The Indian Motorcycle FTR Rally may not qualify as an actual scrambler, but boy, it is looking pretty sweet.
If you are enamored by it, you can find Indian Motorcycle dealers peddling this two-wheel beauty across the U.S. and Canada now.
