Don’t let the scooters on the road fool you. Scooters are cool, but if you think you need to trick them out to make them look cool, well, think again. Just take a look at Italjet Dragster Scooter. Seriously, is that cool or what?

The good news is, the First Edition is slated for production in May and just 499 units – each numbered and certified – are being offered. I am just digging the drag-style look and also the exposed trellis frame. The combination of those two makes the scooter screams “look at me!”

The scooter comes in a choice of 125- or 200 cc four-stroke single-cylinder DOHC, water-cooled engine – denoted as Dragster 125 First Edition and Dragster 200 First Edition, respectively. Delivery is expected to happen sometime in Q2 2020.

According to the official website, you can expect a14.9-19.8 horses, 12.5 and 17 Nm (9.22-12.54 lb-ft) of max. torque and 125 km/h (78 mph) top speed.

One of the cool features is the patented Independent Steering System (I.S.S.) where the steering action is separated from the shock absorption action, thereby it will have no vibrations on the handlebar.

Other notables include die-cast aluminum plates, Euro 4 engine, electronic ignition, C.V.T. automatic transmission, rear single hydro pneumatic shock absorber with adjustable spring, front and rear hydraulic disc brake with Brembo calipers, and 12-inch front and 13-inch rear Pirelli tires.

We do not know how much it costs. I guess you have put in your pre-order request to find out. I pretty sure it will cost pretty penny, though.
