The latest Kia electric vehicles, the EV4 and the Concept EV2, have officially been unveiled to the world, marking a daring leap into the future of electric mobility. You may want to fasten your seatbelt, as Kia Motors is out to redefine how we look at cars, one sleek curve at a time.

Let’s start with the EV4. It’s Kia’s first electric sedan and hatchback, designed to conquer both city streets and open highways. No, this isn’t a futuristic spaceship—though it might very well be. Anyhoo, it has a pretty impressive range of up to 630 km (391 miles). It has two battery options: 58.3 kWh standard and 81.4 kWh long-range battery option. Obviously, the class-leading all-electric range is achieved through the latter.
In addition, it boasts a class-leading drag coefficient of 0.23Cd, which I guess also helps in making good range. Back to the battery, the new EV4’s battery system can be juiced up from 10% to 80% in just 31 minutes. You’ll barely have time to finish your coffee before you’re back on the road. OK. Maybe there’s some exaggeration there, but you get the idea.
And when you are back on the road, it has the amenities to keep your passengers entertained, thanks to a 30-inch combined screen and entertainment with features like YouTube and Netflix. So binge-watching through a road trip? Check!
Both the EV4 saloon and EV4 hatchback are built on Hyundai Motor Group’s E-GMP, or Electric Global Modular Platform, a dedicated platform for battery electric vehicles. Both models are powered by a 150 kW (201 HP) electric motor that enables a speedy sprint from naught to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7.4s or 7.7s in the case of the long-range model.

If you are more of an SUV person, then Kia has something in the works called Concept EV2. It is Kia’s urban SUV vision for 2026. Think of it as the smart, nimble friend that can turn a cramped parking space into a luxury suite with rear-hinged doors, pop-up luggage dividers, and removable speakers.
It’s compact, but don’t let that fool you—it packs plenty of tech and clever features to make your city adventures feel like you’re driving the future.
Get ready to be charged up, folks—the EV4’s arrival in Korea this March and the EV2 in 2026 are setting the stage for a whole new world of electric driving. Pricing for the EV4 remains a mystery for now.
