looking for a ride that can be truly count as a roadster? then look forward to the new KTM X-Bow GT Roadster. if the KTM X-Bow GT looks kind of familiar to you, that’s because it is essentially based on the X-Bow R, but with a slightly water down Audi 2.0 TFSI engine, along with several additions that will actually make it a more tolerable ride for average enthusiast. logical. as it has the look and all it lacks are some ‘creature comfort’ like windshield, side glass, doors and wipers, for it to be an enjoyable ride without having to don a helmet or face the wrath of insect projectiles when you are cruising down the highway. though fitted with a ‘lesser’ 2.0 liter turbocharged four, the GT’s power plant is not to be frown upon: it still has a good 285 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque on the tap. thought it is not known if it there will be top for it. at this point, no performance figures were offered, as are the pricing and availability, but everything should be a whole lot clearer one this beast rolls into the show floor of the Geneva Auto Show 2013 next week. in the mean time, you can whet your appetite for this beauty with the tiny (and we do me ‘tiny’) gallery below.
