Here’s another piece of Marvel Cinematic Universe immortalized in LEGO following LEGO Infinity Gauntlet: Thor’s Mjolnir. That’s right, folks. A nearly full-size LEGO Mjolnir, as seen in the many MCU movies, has finally materialized.
Designed with adult fans of LEGO (AFOLs) in mind, this 979-piece set is not just about the building of the mythical weapon famously wielded by the God of Thunder, Thor. It has a hidden feature.
While it is no doubt display-worthy, it has some playability too – thanks to an opening element that reveals a storage space for a set of small-scale models comprising of the Infinity Gauntlet, Tesseract, and Odin’s Fire – before rounding up with a Minifigure of Thor.
As a display-worthy piece, it comes with a stand to rest the world’s most powerful hammer and an information plate. Sadly, no more information was printed on the nameplate other than the hammer’s name and the Infinity Saga’s branding.
Anywho, when completed, the LEGO 76209 Thor’s Hammer measures 18.1 inches tall, and 11.6 inches across (46.2 x 29.7 cm). Clearly not life-size, but should be impressive enough as a display piece.
