You guys remember the super cool, LEGO-compatible roller coaster building kit from CoasterDynamix? Well, they have a new one called Sidewinder LEGO Compatible Looping Roller Coaster. While the set from two years ago is based on a traditional wooden roller coaster, the Sidewinder is a modern roller coaster that, as the product name suggests, include a loop.

Pretty dope, eh? Imagine a LEGO roller coaster that has cars doing a loop. If that isn’t cool, I don’t know what is. OK. Maybe I am biased cos’ I have this thing for loops. Roller coaster loops, that is. Beyond the loop, Sidewinder is obviously off a contemporary design which includes several new building block elements to make a modern looping roller coasters possible. However, at its heart, it shares the pretty much the same track system and train design as the Cyclone we saw two years ago.

Once again, CoasterDynamix has taken to Kickstarter to peddle its ware. The campaign is already funded and if you commit to a pledge of $119, you are in fact pre-ordering a set destined for April 2019 delivery. But do note that the campaign will end in 9 days or so. Keep going to find a campaign pitch video to learn more, or hit up the campaign page to check out the perks.
