LEGO Disney Beauty and the Beast Castle (43263)

Fans of fairy-tale castles, rejoice! LEGO has just brick-ified another iconic fortress: The Beast’s Castle from the iconic Beauty and the Beast animated feature film. While this isn’t the first LEGO take on the enchanted abode, it’s the biggest and most intricate yet—finally worthy of a collector’s set.

Joining the LEGO Disney Castle (43222) is another palace for Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs): the LEGO Disney Beauty and the Beast Castle (43263). This 2,916-piece set faithfully recreates the fairytale landmark, spanning four detailed levels with multiple rooms.

There’s a ballroom with a spinning floor (perfect for impromptu waltzing), a dining room with a table and spinning platters (ideal for dramatic feasts), and a tower room showcasing the enchanted rose and hidden storage. Of course, it’s packed with carefully curated movie references and intricate details. The grand staircase section is even removable. Why? I have no idea. Perhaps just to get it out of the way for a better view of the detailed interior?

The model comes with 10 minifigures, including Belle, the Beast, Gaston, LeFou, and Maurice, plus LEGO ǀ Disney characters Lumière, Fifi, Cogsworth, Chip, and Mrs. Potts. While it’s not quite as massive as Cinderella’s Castle, it still demands a respectable chunk of shelf space, measuring 33 cm wide, 15 cm deep, and a towering 53 cm tall (about 12.5 x 6 x 20.5 inches).
