We have good news for fans of Disney who have not acquired the LEGO Disney Castle (71040) because there’s a new version coming onto the market. The new LEGO Disney Castle (43222) is a new take on the iconic castle released to commemorate 100 years of Disney.
The LEGO Disney Castle (43222) is an updated version of Cinderella’s Castle. However, unlike the 2016’s version, this 4,837-piece multi-level castle full of rooms set pays homage to 14 classic Disney movies from the past 100 years, featuring minifigures of iconic characters including Cinderella, Prince Charming, Snow White, Prince Florian, Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen, Rapunzel, and Flynn Rider.
Inside the castle are various rooms, each referencing Disney films and characters, including the Grand Ballroom from Cinderella with a spinning floor, the enchanted fireplace from Sleeping Beauty, the Magic Mirror from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the dining room with table setting from Beauty and the Beast, and a room with mop and bucket straight out of Fantasia – just to name a few.
There is even a hidden time capsule commemorating a century of filmmaking history. Completing the Disney Castle are a couple of brick-built firework effects. For a limited time, fans can look for the set in exclusive packaging indicating that it is a Disney 100 Collector’s Edition. When completed, the castle measures over 31.5 in. (80 cm) high, 23 in. (59 cm) wide, and 13 in. (33 cm) deep.
The LEGO Disney Castle (43222) is made for Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs) set. It is expected to sell for a grand US$399.99 when it becomes available on July 04, 2023.
