The LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog sets introduced in April will not be complete without a boss fight and a boss fight level is what the new addition to LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog set, the LEGO Sonic vs. Dr. Eggman’s Death Egg Robot (76993) Set, has to offer.
Sonic is cool and all but the star of the new LEGO Sonic vs. Dr. Eggman’s Death Egg Robot (76993) have to be Dr. Eggman and his mech. The mech features a removable capsule that contains the small and adorable animals captured by Dr. Eggman and used to power up his suit.
Also included in the set is the supervillain’s assistant Cubot as well as Sonic and his Speed Sphere. Kids can launch Sonic in his speed sphere which will enable the protagonist to blast into Dr. Eggman and his mech to release the animals and save the day.
“Kids can use the speed sphere and launcher to navigate the ramp and spikes. The Death Egg Robot has a removable capsule that contains the animals Dr. Eggman is using to power it. These can be pushed out and rescued when Sonic scores a direct hit on Dr. Eggman using the speed sphere.”
All told, the set contains 615 pieces and includes 6 characters, Sonic’s speed sphere, and launcher, plus a bunch of accessories for a creative play. When completed, the mech toy measures over 6 in. (15 cm) high, 5 in. (13 cm) wide, and 3.5 in. (9 cm) deep.
The new LEGO Sonic vs. Dr. Eggman’s Death Egg Robot (76993) will arrive on August 01, 2023, for US$59.99. Recommended for ages 8 and up.
