The LEGO Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus rex set stretches to a colossal 105 cm (3 feet 5.34 inches). But in dinosaur speak, it is not as massive. You know what is really, really massive? The Brachiosaurus. Yeah. Those majestic, gentle giants were the very first dinosaurs shown in Jurassic Park. Too bad LEGO does not have that yet. But that does not mean you cannot have one. One LEGO extraordinaire just made it happen. But it may cost you as much as employing a team of archaeologists.

The LEGO MOC Brachiosaurus Fossil, as it is called, created by MustacheMeneer, requires two sets of the LEGO Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus rex. But more on that in a bit. The set, when completed, captures the towering neck, sweeping tail, and powerful frame of the sauropod dinosaur from the Late Jurassic to Early Cretaceous. It is scaled to the official set and presented in an elegant museum-style display much like LEGO’s.
But be warned, though. It will not be cheap. MustacheMeneer’s creation packs a cool 3,267 parts and requires two sets of the LEGO 76968. However, it does not use all the pieces from both sets, as evident from the part count (the 76968 has 3,145 pieces, and this MOC has 3,267). So the wisest way—as MustacheMeneer also recommends—is to buy one set of 76968, if you don’t already have one lying around, and then procure the remaining pieces from marketplaces like BrickLink. But it won’t be a walk in the park. It will involve sorting the parts according to the part list.
Anyhoo, if you are interested, you can purchase MustacheMeneer’s 617-page instruction from Rebrickable for €16.99 (about 20 USD). The price, obviously, does not include the sets and/or parts for the build.
When completed, the LEGO MOC Brachiosaurus Fossil measures a ‘modest’ 90 cm (35.4 inches) long, and towers at an astonishing 77 cm (30.3 inches) tall. It is unclear if the neck has any poseability, but according to its creator, the set is “surprisingly stable,” and the tail can “fully hold its own weight.”

And yes, MustacheMeneer did actually build it:
