If you were a kid in the ‘80s—or just someone with an appreciation for quirky LEGO history—then you probably remember LEGO Fabuland. The whimsical, story-driven theme ran from 1979 to 1989 and was essentially LEGO’s answer to anthropomorphic soap operas. Now, in 2025, the charming animal town is making a comeback—but in true LEGO House fashion, only as an exclusive set.

Introducing the LEGO House Exclusive #6 LEGO Fabuland Tribute (40506), a nostalgic nod to the beloved theme. Designed by LEGO House Master Builder Stuart Harris and LEGO Senior Designer Markus Rollbühler, this set brings back classic characters Edward Elephant, Joe Crow, Dr. Lucy Lamb, and Clive Crocodile, fully reimagined in modern LEGO design. It’s got everything: vibrant colors, adorable character builds, and even illustrated instructions styled like Fabuland’s original storybooks.
This 1,026-piece set follows in the footsteps of previous LEGO House exclusives like The Wooden Duck, The Brick Moulding Machine, and last year’s LEGO Building Systems. But unlike those, this one taps directly into childhood nostalgia—because let’s be real, Fabuland was the gateway drug for many future LEGO fans.
The LEGO Fabuland Tribute set will be available exclusively at LEGO House, Billund, starting March 1, 2025, for 649 DKK (which is about 91 USD). So if you want to relive the days when tiny animal townsfolk built their own homes while drinking tea, you know where to go.
