For starter, it is the first-ever Sesame Street product from LEGO and secondly, well, it is a freaking Sesame Street set!

The set features a replica of the iconic New York City neighborhood where everything plays out in the American educational children’s television that started since 1969.

I am glad it made it as an official LEGO set and as a person who grew up watching Big Bird and friends, I will definitely reminisce the days I learned that there was a monster that digs cookies and a creature living in a trash can is a grouchy creature that is quite an A hole.

Having that said, you would think that the 1,367-piece LEGO Ideas 21324 123 Sesame Street is targeted at kids. Well, it is not. The set is aimed at adult fan of LEGO (AFOL) with a recommended age of 18 and above. Strange.

The set features instantly recognizable details like Bert and Ernie’s apartment, Elmo’s bedroom and Bert’s rooftop bird house, and character minifigures and accessories including Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie, Oscar the Grouch, Big Bird, Radar the Teddy Bar and of course, Rubber Ducky – just to name a few.
