The Year of the Dragon may only start in February 2024 but already, businesses are revealing celebratory products to usher in the auspicious dragon. LEGO is no exception. The recently listed LEGO Auspicious Dragon (80112) Building Set is one of the sets in the LEGO Spring Festival range.
While the set may be targeted at kids aged 10 and up, this is certainly no child’s play when it comes to the number of pieces, the realism, and the details. Packing 1,171 pieces, the LEGO Auspicious Dragon (80112) Building Set measures a pretty breathtaking 35 cm (13.5 in.) long, 14 cm (5.5 in.) wide, and 26 cm (10 in.) tall.
The size allows the LEGO designers to throw in incredible details, like a tilting head, an opening mouth, and the segment and a detailed head that gives the model an imposing look which is further accentuated by specially printed elements for the eyes and scales – and a a traditional blue crystal element.
That’s not it. The set further boasts a mini scene with a brick-build rock in the sea, before finishing off with a nameplate to complete a dramatic display.
The new LEGO Spring Festival Auspicious Dragon (80112) Building Set is set to drop on January 01, 2024, for US$89.99.
