Well, what do you know? We’re not done with LEGO Star Wars celebrations just yet. Straight from the Star Wars Celebration LIVE! Stage in Japan, LEGO has pulled the wraps off a fan-favorite grump: the LEGO Star Wars K-2SO Security Droid (75434).
This 845-piece brick-built version of the Empire’s sassiest security droid (turned Rebel asset) stands over 15.5 inches (40 cm) tall. With a posable head and arms, it’s ready to strike a pose—or throw shade—on your display shelf. It also includes a stand with an info plaque, which gives it the air of a museum piece. A very tall, slightly menacing, mildly judgy museum piece.
K-2SO made his on-screen debut in Rogue One, where he spent his time hacking terminals and offering brutal honesty. The LEGO version, while unable to speak its mind, does capture the droid’s lanky proportions and awkward elegance in brick form. And with Andor Season 2 around the corner (dropping April 22), the timing couldn’t be better for a reunion with our favorite reprogrammed Imperial.
To make things even more over-the-top, LEGO also revealed a life-sized K-2SO build at the event in Tokyo. This towering 98-inch (250 cm) sculpture is made from over 50,000 LEGO bricks and reportedly took 182 hours to assemble. That’s a lot of sass in one place.
The LEGO Star Wars K-2SO Security Droid set (75434) is available for pre-order now, with full release set for August 1st, 2025. It’s priced at US$89.99 and recommended for ages 10 and up—though let’s be real, the adult fans are already clearing space on the shelf.
