We cannot talk about the Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear without turning our attention to the steering wheel. The steering wheel embodies one of Koenigsegg’s long-standing design philosophies: keeping the driver’s hands on the wheel while moving as much information and as many controls as possible to the wheel itself.

Back when we talked about the 42232, we didn’t go into detail about this lovely “companion” set, so we’re doing so now that the GwP promotion has officially begun.
Designed with adult collectors in mind, the 228-piece LEGO Technic Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear Steering Wheel (40894) is a replica of the iconic steering wheel that lets you dive deeper into one of the most ingenious features of the Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear. Once completed, the speedometer stays level as you turn the wheel, just like in the real car. It even has functional paddle shifters that change the gear indicator—also mounted on the steering wheel—when activated.
Topping off the set is a Technic display stand and, of course, a printed tile featuring the automaker’s logo.
When completed, the LEGO Technic Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear Steering Wheel (40894) measures 15 cm (5.9 inches) tall, 10 cm (4 inches) wide, and 15 cm (5.9 inches) deep.
It is valued at US$24.99, but you cannot simply buy it. You can “unlock” it by purchasing the LEGO Technic Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear Megacar (42232) between July 1 and July 7, 2026.
