LEGO has had quite a number of Hulkbuster sets, including a massive UCS model. And you thought it is going to end there but nope. It isn’t. There is going to be another, the LEGO The Hulkbuster The Battle of Wakanda (76247).
That’s right, my friends. It isn’t the Hulkbuster 1.0 this time. It is the Mark XLVIII Iron Man Armor aka Hulkbuster 2.0 piloted by Bruce Banner when he finds himself having a Hulk block i.e. he can’t transform into the big green guy in Avengers: Infinity War.
TBH, I never liked the design of Hulkbuster 2.0 but man, this 385-piece LEGO version looks better than the on-screen version. One thing is for sure is that LEGO has gotten the V-shape upper body right.
When completed, the mech figure stands 15 cm (5 inches) tall and has some level of articulation. However, like the LEGO Optimus Prime, this LEGO Hulkbuster has locked knee joints for the sake of stability.
The figure further boasts an opening cockpit that reveals space for a Minifigure. Speaking of Minifigure, this set has four 4, including Bruce Banner, whose head turns to reveal a ‘going green’ face, Okoye, who carries a spear, plus two outriders.
The LEGO The Hulkbuster The Battle of Wakanda (76247) is set to drop on January 01, 2023, for US$49.99. Recommended for ages 8 and up.
