Never mind that Amazon MGM Studios’ Wednesday, now streaming on Netflix, is rated TV-14 because it has toys to sell to kids aged 10 and up. Then again, why not? Aside from the ultra-supernatural (ultranatural?) creepiness of the titular character, the series is pretty adorable—or maybe it was the LEGO Friends line that made it so. Speaking of which, in line with the second season of Wednesday, LEGO has released two new LEGO Friends-based sets, namely, LEGO Wednesday Morticia’s Cottage (76786) and LEGO Wednesday Thing’s Apartment (76785).
LEGO Wednesday Morticia’s Cottage (76786)
For US$109.99, you can build your very own slice of eerie domestic bliss with Morticia’s Cottage. This 1,002-piece modular set opens up to reveal a six-room, two-floor residence that looks like the Addams family took a page out of a haunted IKEA catalog. Inside, you’ll find everything from a fully equipped kitchen to a séance room, a fireplace-lit living room, and a bathroom complete with dueling swords—because the probability of a mid-bath duel for Wednesday is almost a certainty—statistically indistinguishable from a foregone conclusion. The set also includes a family car (with room for four), plenty of accessories, and four minidolls: Wednesday Addams, Morticia Addams, Bianca Barclay, and Lurch. When closed, the house measures 21 cm (8.3 in) tall, 19 cm (7.5 in) wide, and 12 cm (4.7 in) deep—perfect for both playtime and spooky display.

For those who prefer a smaller slice of weirdness, there’s Thing’s Apartment for US$89.99. This 828-piece build transforms into a portable trunk “house” that opens up to reveal Thing’s personal quarters—complete with a bed, chair, and a few self-care essentials like nail polish and hand cream. There’s even a working shower feature, because cleanliness is next to creepiness. The set includes a posable Thing figure and an Enid Sinclair minidoll, letting you relive every odd couple moment from the show. When closed, it measures 13 cm (5.1 in) high, 23 cm (9.1 in) wide, and 11 cm (4.3 in) deep.
Both sets are cute, creepy, and just the right amount of kooky—proving once again that even the Addams family can look wholesome when rendered in pastel bricks.
