Unless you are a fervent follower of Masters of the Universe since its beginning, you probably aren’t familiar with Sting-Or. But if you do, then good news, because Sting-Or has returned — this time in the Masters of the Universe Origins line. Sting-Or is one of those deep-cut characters that never quite got his moment in the sun during the original show’s run.
He appeared in the later waves of the vintage toy line, resurfaced in the Classics collection, and even made cameos in the MOTU Classics bios and mini-comics. He later crawled his way into the She-Ra: Princess of Power cartoon, giving him a little bit of fame — or infamy — depending on how much you like scorpion-themed villains.
Now, the Masters of the Universe Origins Sting-Or Action Figure brings this venomous oddball back to the toy shelf with modern articulation and vintage charm. Standing 5.5 inches (14 cm) tall, the figure features 16 points of articulation, plus a posable tail with five more joints. He also comes with interchangeable claws and removable accessories, giving you plenty of ways to recreate his many stinging poses.
