There is no doubt that the movie event of the year is going to be Marvel Studio’s Avengers: Infinity War. With the movie slated hit the theaters later this month, Hong Kong-based collectible figures maker, Hot Toys, have been busy turning out collectible action figures of the key characters that beckons you to part with your hard-earned money. In short, there is something for everybody, including those who have the penchant for the cute. Yes. You heard that right. We said “cute.” The list is long – perhaps the longest since the last two Star Wars installments.
Anywho, Hot Toys Avengers: Infinity War collectibles include life-size accurate replica of Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet, movie masterpieces series 1/6th scale die cast of Iron Man’s newest suit, 1/6th scale Thor figure, 1/6th scale teenage Groot and Rocket, 1/6th scale Black Widow figure, and the newly launched 1/6th scale Thanos collectible figure.
Also in the list are a few sets of cobaby(s) bobble-head collectible sets, featuring characters like Iron Man, Tony Stark and an adorable version of the Infinity Gauntlet, Doctor Strange and gang, Iron Man and Movbi (?), Thanos and Black Order, Hulkbuster, Spidey, Thor, Rocket and Teenage Groot, Star-Lord, and an entourage comprising of Cap, Winter Soldier, Black Widow, Hulk, Black Panther, Falcon and War Machine.
You can secure pre-orders of these collectibles from various outlets including, in the U.S., Sideshow Collectibles. But be warned. These pre-orders usually don’t arrive even after the Blu-ray for the movie is out (as far as 2019, so brace yourself). But that’s the way it is. It is kind of an industry norm. Keep going for an image galore.
