Joining the slowly but surely growing list of LEGO cobranded heavy machinery building sets that include LEGO Technic Liebherr R 9800, LEGO Technic 5×6 Volvo Articulated Hauler, the futuristic LEGO Technic Volvo Concept Wheel Loader ZEUX and more is the LEGO 42131 Technic App-controlled Cat D11 Bulldozer.
Coming in at 3,854 pieces, this LEGO replica of the biggest Cat dozer boasts authentic features and functions, and a new-for-October-2021 LEGO element – a large track that can be tightened and loosened.
The new track element offers the bulldozer a realistic movement as you commandeer it using the CONTROL+ app.
Using the app, you can drive, steer, as well as raise, lower and tilt the blade or raise and lower the ripper and ladder.
Aimed at adults age 18 and above, the LEGO 42131 Technic App-controlled Cat D11 Bulldozer also has a very adult price, at US$449.99. Ouch. The set is slated to hit the shelves starting October 01, 2021.
