Lenovo ZUK Z2 Android Phone

These days, when you talked about flagship smartphone, you’d expect a device with super size display. Well, not in the case of Lenovo ZUK Z2 Android phone. Unveiled recently in Beijing, China, not only the ZUK Z2 does not have huge-ass display, it is priced rather attractively at 1,799 RMB, or about $275 based on today’s going rate (actually, it’s US$299, as listed on ZUKmobile.com). And it looks pretty sleek to boot too. Powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor, clocking in at 2.15GHz and backed by 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage, the ZUK Z2 is no slouch in the specifications department either.

Other noteworthy details include a 5-inch display, a two-sided central structure 2.5D glass and glass fiber, an “acceleration button” (read: turbo boost) that enhances the device speed up to a clock speed of 2.4GHz, a more energy efficient Adreno 530 graphics, U-Touch button that combines three Android buttons into one, super quick U-Touch 2.0 fingerprint sensor that works even with wet finger, a high density lithium polymer battery, and the newest generation of sensors from 2M8 Samsung offering 13MP in imaging that supports high-speed shooting from 960fps.

The Lenovo ZUK Z2 Android phone runs on Android overlaid with ZUI OS, which means it can also synchronize with Apple iCloud, including contacts and calendar, so if you desire, can easily make the switch from Apple iPhone to Android smartphone and vice versa. No words on the exact availability at this point though.
