Liquid Image Scuba Series Wide Angle Dive Mask | US$349.99 | www.liquidimageco.com
the Liquid Image XSC (or Xtreme Sport Cams) Scuba Series Wide Angle Dive Mask is not exactly the newest product Liquid Image has to offer but i thought it is fitting to be giving it a feature since most people up north would be hitting the dive spots during this hot summer season. one look at this $349.99 dive mask you will notice that this is not your run-of-the-mill dive mask. it comes equipped with 1/2.5″ 5.0-megapixels CMOS sensor camera that’s capable of capturing 2560 x 1920 still images and high definition 720p video recording at 30 frames per second (fps), and it does all these at a depth up to 40-meters (130-feet).

it comes with a 64-MB Internal NAND flash memory for processing purpose while main storage is via the micro SD/SDHC card that supports up to 32-GB. the design incorporates big buttons to ensure ease of operations even with gloves on. the best part is, it allows hands free recording, leaving your hands free to swim around the open water. the mask runs off four x AAA batteries that’s good for 500 stills or 16 minutes of video footage, but if lithium batteries are used, it can capture up to 2,000 stills or up to 2-hours of video recording. other features include auto sensitivity, auto white balance, integrated microphone and status LCD panel. if $350 is a little off your budget, there is also a non-wide angle model that cost 100 bucks lesser.
