Many designer labels already have had their share in the audio/visual market. Louis Vuitton is no different too. Wait, what, there’s a LV-branded headphones? Well, not yet, but soon – according to a FCC filing. The wireless earbuds, called Louis Vuitton Horizon Earphones, is not something that was designed from the ground up, though.
Apparently, Horizon is more like a re-branded Master & Dynamic MW07 True Wireless Earphones with a new cosmetic, as hinted by the FCC filing that indicates it was a “Change in Identification of Equipment” from a previous filing for the aforementioned Master & Dynamic earbuds.
What you can expect of this pair of luxe earbuds include a designed-for-Louis Vuitton charging case which comes in a choice of black or white, while the earbuds itself feature an orange against black color scheme. Not sure if the color scheme is even final, TBH.
As far as we can tell, the earbuds’ cover, which appeared to be unfinished, bears the highly recognizable LV branding and the now iconic flower pattern. It will come with “fit wings” for snug fit, multiple ear tip sizes, as well as USB-C charging cable.
Also revealed in the FCC filing is, there will be a volume rocker on the left earbud and a multi-function button on the right for music control and firing up the voice assistant. Though it is not clear by “voice assistant,” does it mean Google Assistant, Siri, Alexa or just native voice commands for basic controls.
No words on when Louis Vuitton Horizon Earphones at this point. Neither is the pricing disclosed. But this being a Louis Vuitton and a Master & Dynamic product, we can only imagine it will command a little more than your average wireless earbuds.
