As the artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear collection, the late Virgil Abloh often turned heads with bold creations, like the pretty out-of-this-world airplane bag. Fast forward to 2024, and the new Men’s Creative Director, multi-hyphenate Pharrell Williams, is continuing what the Off-White founder started—this time with, erhmm, a Lobster Bag?

Like the airplane bag, which looked exactly as advertised, the Lobster Bag is a leather clutch in the unmistakable shape of the ocean’s snappiest crustacean. Part of Pharrell Williams’ Fall 2025 collection, the bag is designed in collaboration with Japanese streetwear icon Nigo.
Details about this elusive masterpiece are sparse, but whispers suggest it’s crafted from Vachetta leather adorned with the iconic Louis Vuitton monogram. The lobster’s sculpted claws, antennae, and legs contrast with non-monogram leather, making it a head-turning (or appetite-inducing?) statement piece.
Even more shocking than the design? The rumored price tag: a jaw-dropping US$18,000. Yikes. At that price, let’s hope it comes with a bib and a side of melted butter.
