Mattel Art of Engineering Skeletor Figure

Fans of Masters of the Universe may want to check out the Mattel Art of Engineering Skeletor Figure. Clearly, it is not a toy and little does the name say anything about this clear evil of Eternia. OK. May be it did. I just did not see it. Now I do.

Here’s the thing. When Mattel created Skeletor in 1982, he had just 6 points of articulation. However, the redesigned figure now rocks a whopping 17 points of articulation.

Skeletor is put together using co-molding, allowing articulation with interior joints while still letting the articulation points to be bonded to his evil, creepy skin. Hence, the beautiful product name, Mattel Art of Engineering Skeletor Figure.

With this collectible figure, evil is still present, but gone are the colors. What remain is a clear, translucent figure that lets you have a clear view of the inner workings of this wonderful figure.

The Mattel Art of Engineering Skeletor Figure was available to order in limited quantities last year. Naturally, it is all gone by now. The price was US$50. Shipping to buyer is expected to happen in March 2021. I guess you and I are out of luck.

But you can still get the Art of Engineering Skeletor Print for US$75. It is not an action figure. It is a print design the Skeletor design schematic. Screen print with matte finish.
