The German name best known for writing instrument, Montblanc, now has a pair of ‘smart’ headphones. The Montblanc MB 01 Headphones, as it is called, is everything you expect of a modern headphones, along with the luxury and sleekness the luxury brand is best known for.

The Montblanc MB 01 Headphones is foldable, compact, and definitely oozes with the executive vibes. The Montblanc MB 01 is a result of a collaboration between the famed writing instrument maker and sound expert Alex Rosson.

Montblanc MB 01 Headphones Costs $595

Sound is piped through 40 mm neodymium dynamic drivers while the latest Bluetooth version, Bluetooth 5.0, when used with compatible devices, offers reduced power usage and therefore, longer battery life.

Speaking of battery life, the Montblanc MB 01 Headphones’ onboard battery is good for 20 hours of operation. Not the best, admittedly, but it is good enough.

Other notables include active noise cancelling technology, supports aptX technology, ergonomic design for comfort wear, fine materials and quality craftsmanship as one would expect from the brand, and Google Assistant support allows for hands-free operation. Montblanc MB 01 Headphones play well with both Android OS as well as iOS.

Not going to lie. The headphones does look pretty. I wouldn’t say it is a head-turner, but it is pretty. But as a high-end headphones, it does come with a head-end price and in this instant, you are looking at a rather hefty $595 investment.

The headphones is offered in black, gray and a brown. The latter is paired to shiny gold accents while the former two, with chrome accents.
