Often tiny spaces like tiny homes, RVs, and boats require you to sacrifice conveniences like, say, a clothes dryer. Fortunately, as far as dryer goes, you don’t have to make sacrifices because there’s the Morus Zero Ultra-fast Portable Clothes Dryer.
Designed with tiny spaces and portability in mind, the Morus Zero Ultra-fast Portable Clothes Dryer is a countertop tumble dryer that couldn’t be more appropriate for small spaces where usually hanging clothes to dry would consider a luxury.
It measures a space-saving 415 mm wide and 528 mm, and it is just 489 mm tall ((16.3 x 20.8 x 19.3 inches) and weighs just 28.7 lbs (13 kilograms). Notwithstanding its tiny stature, it has a max load of 3.3 lbs (1.5 kilograms) and functions just regular size dryer.
Under the hood, a powerful BLDC motor and patented Vacuum+ technology enable drying in as little as 15 minutes and while it is at it, it promised to kill 99.99% of bacteria and mites and removes odor – thanks to the built-in UV sterilization. Just in case anyone’s curious… 3.3 lbs load is about 8 t-shirts worth. Not a lot but so is the closet space in your RV.
Airflow and the temperature within are precisely controlled to ensure quick drying but no over-drying that may damage delicate fabrics. Speaking of which, the appliance is good for a variety of materials, including silk and even shoes (for which a rack has to be used).
Other features include an easy-to-use control panel with a child lock, a durable snag-free stainless steel tub, a magnetic lint filter for easy maintenance, and of course, zero installation.
Previously a successful Kickstarter campaign, the Morus Zero Clothes Dryer has launched direct sales in the U.S. for US$599.99. Yikes. It cost as much as a regular size dryer! Then again, a regular-size dryer will devour a chunk of space in an RV or tiny home.
