Good news, Motorola devotees! Motorola has returned to the smartwatch after 2-3 years of inactivity. The brand quietly stopped rolling out smartwatches after the third-generation Moto 360 until 2022/23 when it launched the Moto Watch 70. Fast forward to 2025, and the Motorola Moto Watch Fit marks another in-house offering from the smartphone maker.
As the name implies, the Motorola Moto Watch Fit is not just a smartwatch; it’s a fitness sidekick disguised in an Apple Watch-ish design that’s been around the world and back. It seamlessly integrates with any Android device, helping you stay on top of your fitness goals—whether you’re tracking workouts, monitoring wellness, or just pretending you’re fit while scrolling through notifications.
It rocks a 1.9-inch (4.8 cm) OLED display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, so you don’t have to baby it. You can check your notifications, control music, and more—all without squinting, thanks to a whopping 1,000 nits of brightness. Sunlight readability? Not an issue. And like any good smartwatch, you can customize the watch face to match your style, mood, or whatever excuse you need to justify staring at your wrist.
Speaking of wrist, it uses 22 mm bands, so you are free to switch out the strap for third-party bands, including the Pantone-curated Trekking Green band, for the personalized look. Other features include over 100+ sports modes, advanced heart rate and calorie tracking, built-in GPS, sleep monitoring, IP68-rated with 5 ATM water resistance, and a 16-day battery life in between charges.
The Motorola Moto Watch Fit will be arriving in “coming weeks” which should be soon since this news was out on April 24. Though the price is still under wrap for now.
