remember the popular clamshell RAZR that literally gives Motorola a new lease of life several years back? well, it is back but in an all new touchscreen smartphone guise and from the look of it, it is going to make waves like its clamshell predecessor did. constructed from hi-tech materials like Corning Gorilla Glass, KELVAR fiber (yes, its the KELVAR used in bulletproof vests) and splash-guard coating all over, this phone is definitely looking more than promising.

under the hood is a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor with 1-GB RAM and powered by Android 2.3.5 OS. other highlights include a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced touchscreen display (540 x 960 pixels), a 8.0-megapixels rear-facing camera with LED flash that’s capable of 1080p video recording, and a HD front-facing camera. of course, another focal point is its sleek, ultra thin form factor of just 7.1 mm thin. two versions will be made available, the CDMA and the GSM model but as far as hard specifications are concerned, both are the same.
