MSI, usually known for gaming tech, made a splash at the recently concluded 2024 Taipei Auto Show (December 28, 2023-January 01, 2024) with their eco-friendly tech for cars. The brand that we PC builders looked to for motherboard and stuff has launched smart chargers and systems for electric vehicles, with the “EV AI” charger, complete with license plate recognition, being a standout feature.
These chargers, including the sleek “EV Life” for homes and “EV Premium” and “EV AI” for commercial applications, are all about merging convenience with green energy. For “EV Premium” and “EV AIO”, they offer QR code payment and RFID card sensing features. However, “EV AI” further boasts the aforementioned license plate recognition feature.
MSI is not just a hardware provider for the smart EV chargers; it has the software side covered too. It provides EMS cloud management systems and customized API integration services to enable remote monitoring for venue owners and operators.
MSI’s dive into the automotive market highlights their commitment to sustainable energy solutions and smart living. It is now clear when MSI Smart EV chargers will be implemented. The MSI Smart EV Charger is part of MSI’s AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) solutions. You may learn more HERE.
