If you haven’t already heard, 80s cartoon He-Man: Masters of the Universe is getting a new animated series and not surprisingly, it will be on Netflix. Like where else could it be on, right?
The series was first announced in 2019 and last week, Netflix offered some first-look photos.
The new series, which is called Masters Of The Universe: Revelation, is no reboot; it picks up where the original 80s’ He-Man cartoon has left off and oh, we have a date too.
The new CG He-Man animated series is expected to come onto Netflix on July 23. Here’s a brief on what the new series is about:
“Following a cataclysmic battle between He-Man and Skeletor, Eternia is fractured and the Guardians of Grayskull are scattered. And after decades of secrets tore them apart, it’s up to Teela to reunite the broken band of heroes, and solve the mystery of the missing Sword of Power in a race against time to restore Eternia and prevent the end of the universe.”
Voice cast include Mark Hamill as Skeletor, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Teela, Chris Wood as Prince Adam aka He-Man, and Lena Headey and Tiffany Smith as Evil-Lyn and Andra, respectively.
