Is anyone still into Halo? If you are a fan, then here are some new involved collectibles for you. Mattel’s brick building brand, Mega, has introduced three new Halo building sets based on the latest installment, Halo Infinite. These are not just any Mega sets, btw. They are Mega Collectors which is kind of like LEGO UCS equivalent.
The sets include Mega Halo Banished Phantom Building Set (US$118), Mega Halo Pelican Inbound Aircraft Building Set (US$161), and Mega Construx Halo Arbiter’s Quest Aircraft Building Set (US$27). Both the Banished Phantom and Pelican Inbound sets are 2-in-1 sets.
With the 1,124-piece Banished Phantom, you can choose to build a Banished Phantom spaceship or a combat walker. Features include a foldout roof and cockpit, and a firing turret.
The Mega Halo Banished Phantom Building Set includes 4 poseable micro action figures (Spartan Griffin, Jega Rdomnai, Brute Captain, and Escherum [hologram]), with display stands and swappable combat accessories.
The Pelican Inbound set, on the other hand, can be rebuilt into a super cool UNSC compound. Features include poseable wings, cockpit hatch, working landing gear, and a secret opening that reveals a hidden interior.
Mega Halo Pelican Inbound Aircraft Building Set has 2,024 pieces and includes 3 micro action figures (Master Chief, The Pilot, and a Hunter), each with 12 points of articulation, a display stand, and interchangeable weapon accessories.
The final set, the Mega Construx Halo Arbiter’s Quest Aircraft Building Set, is not quite based on the Halo Infinite. Instead, the set recalls a classic mission that happens earlier in the franchise, from Halo 2.
Included with the 241-piece Mega Construx Halo Arbiter’s Quest Aircraft Building Set are three micro action figures (Covenant Arbiter, Heretic Leader Sesa ‘Refgume, and Heretic Elite, each with 12 points of articulation, a display brick, and interchangeable combat accessories.
All three sets will go on sale at creations.mattel.com starting on July 29, 2022, at 9 AM Pacific Daylight Time.
