If you are a huge fan of Genshin Impact, you will be glad you have not upgraded to the new OnePlus 12R. Why? Because, there is now the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition. That’s right, my friends, Genshin Impact has arrived to spruce up the look of OnePlus hardware.
While Genshin Impact is not new to collab with handset makers, this time, the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition Smartphone is a device consumers in the U.S. can buy. This latest Genshin Impact handset collab is inspired by the Electro character Keqing.
The Genshin Impact 12R is given a grayish-purple colorway (called Electro Violet) decorated with motifs inspired by the character. The hardware further features Keqing’s logo, along with a mirror image of her name on the top frame of the phone.
This branding appears to be gibberish until a light hits it and it casts the branding on a surface. But how well this actually works in real life remains to be seen.
Anyhoo, the Genshin Impact Keqing-theme continues to the special packaging, which also includes a Keqing-themed “Glinted Lightning” 100W SUPERVOOC power adapter and fast charging cable, a Keqing-themed custom “Lighting Stiletto” SIM ejector, and a Keqing themed phone case.
Also included is a bunch of Keqing merchandise like collectible Chibi commemorative metal badges, a Chibi acrylic phone stand, an acrylic stand ornament, a tinplate shiny character badge, an “Exceed the Speed of Lightning” poster, a Letter to the Traveler, and a sheet of custom Chibi stickers.
Rounding up the Keqing-themed is, of course, a Keqing-themed UI.
The device is offered only in 16 GB + 256 GB configuration.
The OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition Smartphone was launched on February 28 but at the time of this post, it was already sold out.
Fret not though. OnePlus will be bringing back limited stock on March 21. So be sure you get yourself signed up to be notified.
But before you jump on it, you ought to know that the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition Smartphone costs 50 bucks more over the same configuration, vanilla 12R, at US$649.99.
