Man, time does fly! It has been a year since Oppo delighted the Android community with the Find X8 series. It feels like Oppo only just dropped the Find X8S and the mighty Find X8 Ultra this April, and now—bam—the Find X9 is already here. The best part, perhaps, is that Find X9 is launching globally soon, having just been announced in its home market of China. Oppo is bringing the Find X9 series to a global stage, with its official worldwide debut happening in Barcelona on October 28, 2025.

And Oppo isn’t pulling punches. The Find X9 series is still carrying its Hasselblad partnership, but this time it’s wielding some serious hardware flex. The Find X9 Pro [CH] packs a jaw-dropping 200 MP Hasselblad Telephoto, co-developed for sensor calibration and optics, giving it zoom chops that will probably shame most point-and-shoot cameras. And then there is the 50 MP wide-angle camera, and a 50 MP super wide-angle with a whopping 120°.
The regular Find X9 [CH] isn’t slouching either with the same Hasselblad Master Camera System powered by Oppo’s LUMO Image Engine. Both can shoot buttery-smooth video at up to 4K 120 fps in Dolby Vision, plus there’s LOG recording with ACES support for those who like to pretend they’re directing Dune 3 on a phone. All told, the non-Pro rocks a 50 MP setup that includes a large 1/1.4” sensor main camera, a telephoto camera, and a super wide-angle camera.
Both phones also include a color restoration sensor and a multi-focus portrait flash. Interestingly, though, the Pro has a pill-shaped unit outside of the camera bump, while the non-Pro has a ring flash on the camera module. Both device has Hasselblad branding. The Pro has it where the ring flash of the non-Pro is, while the non-Pro model Hasselblad logo sitting in the middle of the ring flash unit, which I thought looks cooler and more cohesive.
Design-wise, Oppo has kept things sleek with matte glass backs and matte aluminum frames, giving you options like Titanium Grey, Space Black, and Velvet Red for the X9, while the X9 Pro shows off in Silk White and Titanium Charcoal. Displays are flat and nearly bezel-less, with the X9 sporting a 6.59-inch screen and the Pro pushing to 6.78 inches, both framed by impossibly thin 1.15 mm bezels.

Under the hood is the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip built on a 3 nm process, paired with Oppo’s third-gen silicon-carbon battery. That translates to 7025 mAh on the Find X9 and 7500 mAh on the Pro—enough juice for up to two days without hunting for an outlet. Add in ColorOS 16 with its AI tricks, buttery animations, and multi-device connectivity, and the Find X9 series looks locked and loaded.
Both devices are IP68 and IP69-rated for dust and water resistance. Oh, right. Another key difference, other than the obvious (camera setup and battery), would be the display. The Pro is larger, touting a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 2,771 x 1,272 pixels, 450 ppi. Meanwhile, the smaller X9 is outfitted with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 2,760 x 1,256 pixels, 460 ppi. Both displays have a peak brightness of 1,800 nits (800 nits default), and have a 120 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling rate.
The Find X9 is offered in four colors, and in 12+256, 12+512, 16+256 (select colors only), 16+512, and 16+1 TB configurations. The Find X9 Pro, on the other hand, has three colors to choose from and is also available in 12+256, 12+512, 16+512, and 16+1 TB configurations.
The price will be revealed at the Barcelona launch. Meanwhile, in China, the Oppo Find X9 and the Find X9 Pro are available for pre-order with a starting price of 4,399 yuan [CH] and 5,299 yuan [CH], respectively.
