You may be living in the U.S. for your whole life, but you may not have heard of Orbic and TracFone. These are brands that you will want to acquaint yourself with if you’re living on a budget.
Orbic is a U.S. phone maker, dishing out affordable handsets while TracFone is a prepaid, no-contract mobile phone provider. Recently, Orbic has released a new smartphone specifically for TracFone users.
The phone, Orbic Magic 5G, is not shabby on the specs, looks pretty, and very importantly, is super affordable as far as 5G phones go.
The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 635 5G Mobile Platform, backed by 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. The latter is expandable up to 1 TB with a microSD card.
The phone is outfitted with a rear-facing triple camera setup comprising of a 48 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP macro snapper. Also on the back is a physical fingerprint sensor.
Around the front, a 16 MP selfie camera can be on the top right of the large 6.78” FHD display.
The phone further touts a large capacity battery (5,000 mAh) equipped with an 18 W charger that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
Out-of-the-box, the Orbic Magic 5G runs off Android 11 OS.
