There’s a catch here with the biometric unlocking (i.e Face ID and Touch ID) though; it isn’t from the bag. Instead, it is via your smartphone. That is something I imagine not everyone will be comfortable with.

Speaking of smartphone, both bags are connected and works with Plevo app which also works for both old and new Plevo bags. Morse Code, on the other hand, is built into the bag, located along side the Latch Lock, indicator light, TSA lock with the unique lock with swivel opening.

Each bag comes with a removable battery pack that looks as sleek as the bag itself. The power bank packs 10,000 mAh, supports Quick Charging 3.0 and provides two USB ports, a micro USB and a USB-C ports, plus charging lights and a power on/off button.

A USB port is conveniently located on the side of the bag for charging your device without pulling out the power bank. Finally, there’s the travel/street mandatory distance alerts that, when the bag is too far from you, it will lock itself and send notifications to you.

Tech aside, the bags a bunch of pockets and compartments to get your belongings organized. There is a quick access to your laptop and true to a travel luggage, it opens 180 degrees for unhindered access to the interior.

Both models are available in two sizes and they can be pre-ordered via Kickstarter. But before you jump on it, you have to know these high-tech bags aren’t cheap. The Plevo B-One Backpack will set you back at $179-190 while the Plevo D-One Duffle commands $190-205.
