this is a car you are not destined to own, but it is a car that you might have a shot at driving it once. such is what the German automaker is offering with a competition on its Facebook fan page. as for the car, it will be the “fan-sourced” Porsche based on the 911 Carrera 4S. “fan-sourced” meaning 54,000 social media users aka Facebook users voted on the look of this Porsche 911 to result in the car you see here now. however, do not expect a monster machine or anything crazy, the Porsche ‘5M Porsche Fans’ 911 Carrera 4S (btw, the ‘5M’ refers to 5 million “Likes” on their Facebook fan page) was given several cosmetic touches, starting with a unique Aquablaumetallic (Aqua Blue Metallic in comprehensible English) paint job adorned with a set of “5M Porsche Fans” decal at the sides, a set of 20-inch Carrera S wheels splashed in white, and an “Aerokit Cup” package comprising of a front apron with additional front spoiler lip and a new rear lip with fixed spoiler for the exterior.

on the inside, the custom-made door sills and glove compartment insert features the wording “Personally built by 5 Million Porsche Fans” as a subtle reminder (or maybe not that subtle?) that how this car came about. from now till August 18, you will have a chance to win a drive in this awesome “fan-sourced” sports car at the Porsche Experience Center at Silverstone in the UK. it looks like only one lucky fan will get to handle the vehicle, but for the runners-up in second place, through to the tenth place in this competition, you are looking at receiving a 1:43 scale model of the ride that you never did drive aka the Porsche ‘5M Porsche Fans’ 911 Carrera 4S as a consolation prize. the competition is open to anyone with a Facebook account (and of course, a fan of Porsche’s Facebook fan page) and a valid driver’s license. hit up this link here to find how you can take part in this competition, but before you go, you might want to take a few more look of this one-off 911 in the image gallery below.
