Remember the 911 GT3 Tailpipes Bluetooth speaker from 2017? Well, here’s an updated version that is designed to be carried around so that everyone knows that have a 911 tailpipe as a portable speaker. The Porsche Design 911 Speaker 2.0 – Porsche Originals, as it is referred to, is described as a Porsche Lifestyle high-end Bluetooth speaker bearing an exclusive design.
The fact that it is made from high-quality materials based on the tailpipe trim of the 911 GT3 (992) itself is a conversation starter. And it will most definitely turn heads. The driver or drivers was not disclosed but Porsche Design said that this little packs a beefy 60-watt of system power.
Key features include Bluetooth 5.0, Qualcomm aptX HD, in-room wireless technology, NFC technology, and up to 16 hours of battery life in between charges. Additional 911 Speakers 2.0 and other compatible Porsche Lifestyle sound products can be coupled with the integrated in-room wireless technology.
Unlike other Porsche Design Bluetooth speakers we have seen previously, this one is designed to go places and as such it does come with a carrying case for transportation.
The Porsche Design 911 Speaker 2.0 – Porsche Originals will make for a perfect Father’s Day gift if you have already gotten one. The only con is, it is awfully expensive. You know, like US$650 kind of expensive. Also, it is not the newest Bluetooth speaker on the market. Just saying.
