Beyond eye-watering footage, EVO 2 also boasts an advanced obstacle avoidance system made possible by 12 computer vision sensors and 2 sonar sensors, a dual-core processor and AI machine learning. It is capable of detecting potential hazards from up to 30 meters (98 feet) away.

Dynamic Track 2.0 enables it to follow subjects autonomously while actively avoiding obstacles and onboard AI bestowed this imaging drone with the ability to create smart flight paths in real-time. Plus, it can recognize up to 64 objects, including people, vehicles, and animals, all at once.

Other highlights include a 7,100 mAh battery for up to 40 minutes of forward flight (or 35 minutes hovering), Battlock system to prevent accident battery ejection, patented quick-release props, up to 9 km (5.6 miles) range, a top speed of 45 mph (72 km/h), 8 GB of onboard storage, and SD card slots that support up to 256 GB.

There will be three versions of Autel Robotics EVO 2 Series Imaging Drone: EVO II 8K Folding Drone, EVO II Pro that does 6K imaging, and EVO II Dual that has an 8K camera as well as thermal imaging capability.
