Elan Skis is like the sports car of skis. This notion is made even more true with the new Porsche Design Elan Amphibio Skis. The two brands have come together again for new set of skis that, much like Porsche’s automobiles, has both the look and performance.
There are no boxer engine and horsepower to marvel at. However, the Porsche Design Elan Amphibio Skis does have carbon plate and award-winning Amphibio Truline Technology, which you can say are the equivalent of a powerful boxer engine.
Amphibio Truline Technology is complex innovation that strategically places materials along the ski edge to allows for more stability to power the turn, and less material along the outside edge for smooth, perfect turn.
This exquisite racing skis also feature the ski maker’s Fusion X Binding System that boasts a new single connection with smoother free flex between the ski and binding for easy and precise turning at high speeds.
The ski itself further touts two layers of titanium for superior edge control and a progressive flex pattern (Dual Titanium Reinforcement) and Laminated Wood Core to achieve desired flex patterns to generate extreme responsiveness and durability in a variety of conditions.
The Porsche Design Elan Amphibio Skis is presented in a perfect Porsche Design fashion: black carbon finish and dynamic white accents, and man, they look absolutely gorgeous.
The Porsche Design Elan Amphibio is part of Elan’s Black Edition ski collection. It is one of four skis within the limited edition collection and will be offered in four lengths: 160, 166, 172, 178mm.
The skis are accompanied by sleek and lightweight carbon ski poles. Both the skis and ski poles will be available to purchase at select Porsche Design Stores, online at porsche-design.com and elanskis.com as well as at exclusive Elan dealerships starting in Fall 2020.
